Austrailian Open? Oh yeah....

Just finished watching the Sharapova-Serena semifinal match with my Dad. That was one hellvua match and to think I nearly missed it. Then again the Australian Open has a way of sneeking up on me since it's the first major of the the year and it's on the other side of the world.
Sharapova won the first set and had Serena on the ropes several times and probably should've won. But I gotta tip my hat to Serena, she knuckled up and played like a true champion tonight/this morning winning in 3 sets. Both of these ladies really hit the crap out of the ball and the match did have it's share of errors. However, when it mattered most both players stepped up their games to make this match an epic affair. I knew it was getting good when my Dad stopped asking me questions like: "How do they keep score?" or "Why are the people wearing turbans?" And started saying things like: "I like Sharapova, she's pretty." and "Serena is out of shape, look at her butt."
Anyway, it was a great match featuring 2 athletically gifted chicks one of which is extremely hot and the other one that could eat me alive. Yeah, that's enough to get my attention not to mention my dad's.
