The Nation Has Spoken
Other than it raining cats and dogs today, it was a glorious day (politically speaking).
I'd like to give a shout out to America for finally waking up and coming to its senses. Now that the Democrats have taken control of the House and are about to do the same with the Senate, I can finally feel like the country is headed in the right direction.
Happy Trails Rummy: So clear was the message that was sent by my fellow Americans that Bush had no choice but to let Rumsfeld take the fall.
Speaking of America, please go and see Borat. I can't recommend a movie more than this one. Not only will you laugh out loud but you'll also gasp at some of Borat's antics and while you're doing that, you gain some insight to the "other" side of the good old U.S. of A.
Now that basketball season is started its good to see that the Lakers are off to such a good start (4-1). I'm absolutely thrilled to see how improved young Andrew Bynum is from last season. I know it's too eary to get too excited about him but I'm loving the upside of the big fella.
Speaking of basketball, I'm pleased to report that I am once again pain free (three games in a row now) after playing again on Monday. When I say pain free I mean in my feet because they were bothering me earlier in the season. Looking back on it now I would have to chalk up those problems with the fact that I hadn't played full court in so long and my body just wasn't used to it.
