Welcome to the 21st Century...

This has been a momentous month for me. First I received a DVD player for Christmas and yesterday I made my very first purchase on ebay! It took me a while but I think it's safe to say that I have now joined everyone in the 21st Century.
For the meantime I'll keep the purchase a surprise. All I'll say about it is that once I saw it I knew I had to get it. It also happens to appeal to my inner Star Wars geek. That's it, that's all I'll say until I officially get it in the mail.
Now that I am officially registered on ebay I have to be careful. Afterall, there's so much stuff out there and I know how I get when I'm around things I like. I'm not saying I'm an addict but I have been known to buy things in spurts and ebay really feeds into that impulse. Still, I can't deny that I enjoy looking to see what's out there.
