Feels like Sunday

Gotta love the long holiday weekend. Woke up this morning to catch the All-Williams Ladies Wimbledon final which Venus won (for the 5th time). I was pulling for Serena but big sis just proved to be too much on grass, she definitely deserved it.

Didn't really do too much on America's birthday. Basically sat around, went to Tanger putting some of that economic stimulus money to work haha. Really need to cool it with the bargain hunting because there's just too much out there. Then again, when you can get two pairs of designer jeans which would normally set you back close to $400 for $75, you gotta do it. Right?

Other than that, my aunt and uncle came over for dinner and then proceeded to watch the Mets blow yet another game to the Phillies. Why do I bother again? Serenity now, Serenity now... I was too upset from the game to go over to Jim's so I wound up going to see a late night showing of "Hancock" with T.

I liked the story and thought that overall the movie was pretty good. Finally a movie that shows what it would be like if people reacted to the damage that occurs when a super hero tries to "do the right thing." The CG was sub par but didn't ruin the film I thought, and Charlize Theron is so damned hot I forgot all about it. So if any of you are thinking of seeing it I'd recommend it.
