Giant Debacle

I'm still trying to get over that horror show that played out in the Meadowlands yesterday. To watch your team get their ass kicked at home in the playoffs is brutal. But to get shut out too?! It doesn't get any worse than that. The final score of 23-0 doesn't convey just how much Carolina dominated the game. Eli looked lost out there and the M*A*S*H unit that we were calling a defense didn't stand a chance.
Normally I'm a pretty easy going person but after watching that game I felt myself slip into a genuine funk. It was as though someone had run over my dog. I have to admit I was surprised at how upset I got. I have only myself to blame. I let myself lose sight of the fact that this team wasn't ready to take that next step which was painfully clear after 60 minutes of futile football by the home team. Hopefully Eli, Coughlin and the rest of the Giants can learn from this.

Quite frankly, I should know better by now. Has it come to this? I've started ripping off Stephen A. Smith! I'm too old to be getting this worked up over this shit.
