Thanks Dr. King
It remains to be seen whether I'll be getting for today but either way I'm happy that I had the day off. I had a bad case of the Mondaze so another 4 day work week is just fine with me.
I tried to stay up and watch the end of the Lleyton Hewitt match but decided that it's not worth it. At last glance Hewitt won the 4th set in a tiebreaker to force a decisive 5th set. Of course I only have myself to blame since I let myself get talked into goin in on the Australian Open pool.
The Golden Globes and came and went tonight and truth be told, they were barely on my radar. The reason being that 24 is now in full swing and tonight was the 2nd part of the 4 hour season premiere. Without giving anything away I'll just say that I am excited about how it started and can't wait to see how this season/"day" unfolds. It's amazing how the writers have been able to sustain the intensity and momentum of the show for this long.
It looks like Winter has finally arrived since the temperature dropped severely for the first time and we got a legit amount of snow out here on LI this weekend. I even went out and purchased a new pair of winter boots (on sale of course, courtesy of the local Bob's Store) just to make sure I'm covered for the inevitable deluge of bad weather that I'm sure we're bound to get.
