The week that was...

Still reeling from the passing of Old Dirty Bastard. Got an eyeful on MNF when Terrell Owens and Nicollette went Skinemax on America (shame on you ABC and NFL). I changed my first flat tire on Tuesday. Not that I feel more manly now (ok maybe just a little bit). Also bought a new suit (a nice 3-piece) for all the interviews (hopefully) and weddings I'll be attending in the near future. Got a really good deal on it too which is always good (reg. $450 I paid $170!).
Then there was last night's episode of The OC. I gotta say Olivia Wilde made quite an impression. I've been a big fan of hers since Skin and I'm glad that the people over at Fox made sure she didn't stay on the shelf too long. The OC will now be all about The OW for me from now on. Felt that The Walkmens' appearance was kinda cheesy just like Rooney's last season but I guess someone needs to cell CDs. I liked the other new girl that was introduced this week, her name escapes me but that won't be for long. She like Ryan has come to Newport with something to proveStill trying to figure out how Ryan became Will Hunting over the Summer but then again who cares? As far as Seth, it was painful to see him go through the realization that Summer's ship has sailed (pun intended). Maybe the OW will help him with his

Well, I'm off to the Big City today. Some bday parties to attend as well as working at CBS. Hopefully I'll have something interesting to write about when I get back.

Too Much Time...

Trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do today. Do I rake my lawn (again), how many resumes will I send out today? How much money should I spend on Mega Millions tickets?Decisions, decisions....While I do that, I figured I would share some random thoughts I've had today: I'm still coming to grips with the fact that we are all stuck with George W. Bush for another 4 years. You know what's funny to me? It hasn't even been a month since he won re-election and half his cabinet has handed in their resignations. If that's not a telltale sign that we're really in for a long 4 years, then I don't know what is. How will Eli Manning perform as the starting QB for my NY Giants? He can't possibly be as bad as Kurt Warner has been the last few weeks. Can he? Then there's the news of Barry Bonds winning yet another MVP award (his 7th overall). The fact that there is compelling evidence out there that says he used steroids, in my opinion, cheapens his accomplishments. Speaking of cheap accomplishments, how bout that Anna Nicole Smith? Who's bright idea was it to let that chemically unbalanced nit wit on stage? She conitinues to impede the progress of trailer trash all across the U.S.
That's all for now, time for lunch.
